Testimonials

“Stella has ridden with Sapphire Ridge since she was three years old. During this time, I have watched her grow into a highly accomplished, mature young woman. She has dedicated herself to her academic and equestrian pursuits with tremendous success. Stella is a member of the National Honor Society. She has remarkable natural equestrian talent, a very strong work ethic and a positive attitude. She is always eager to learn and accept new challenges, riding a wide range of horses and ponies since she was a small child. As a result, she has developed a well diversified skill set. She brings a high degree of professionalism to each ride whether schooling or competing. Her commitment to and passion for horses has enabled her to have a very successful show career. She competed at Maclay Finals at fourteen and has won multiple medal finals on different horses, as well as having participated in the USHJA Emerging Athletes Program. Horse welfare is also a priority for Stella, as puts the horses’ wellbeing before anything else. In addition to being a highly skilled rider, she is an excellent, hardworking horsewoman. She is a natural leader, serving as a mentor and role model in the barn. She always conducts herself with integrity, is open-minded and thoughtful, and is inclusive of all riders. Stella would be an outstanding addition to any collegiate equestrian program.”
~ Nancy A. Frost, Sapphire Ridge trainer and owner, Pasadena, California

“Stella is a rider who immediately stands out for both her natural ability and her approach to the sport. She has a beautiful, effective position and a quiet, confident way of riding that gives horses a sense of trust and consistency, especially in catch riding situations. She is highly attentive to detail, thoughtful in her decision-making, and always prioritizes the horse’s well-being. What truly sets Stella apart is her work ethic and desire to learn—she is coachable, motivated, and consistently looking to improve both in the saddle and on the ground. She brings a positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and a team-oriented mindset, making her someone who would be a valuable asset to any collegiate equestrian program.”
